Let me know what you guys think. I installed this for a friend...sold him my Type-R and it sounds great. I did it in the cold and cut my hand up so it was pretty miserable, but I think it turned out well. I will smooth out the edges and carpet it next week

Does look nice. Only thing that might be a problem is that since its tall and skinny, when he accelerates it might fall forward. But itll prob bew fine, good job.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif mount that thing down somehow

maybe mount the amp lower on the box so it helps keep it upright? if the box cant be layed down and the amp mounted another way

Yeah, I thought about that after I got it all installed. He is young and his dad told him it couldn't take up much space so I made it as small as I could.

I told him I would mount it when I put the carpet on. I will probably just run a strap from the back of the box to under the back seat

i am in the works of my install. i live in MN so its so cold here so time to work is very hard. next wednesday and thursday it is suppost to warm up so i can get some things done. the setup is in my sig. i am done with the big2 and currently i am sealing my power and ground. i will post pics soon

i will also be getting the same dash kit.

I love installing in fords..its pie. As others have said, under hard acceleration, it will fall over, as mine has done a few times. Looks good though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

under hard acceleration, it will fall over. meaning what?
you don't have anything to worry about with that beefy box...should sound sweet. He's just saying the box will tip if he takes off to fast because the box I made him is shallow

yeah. i am not going to bolt this box down. there are these plastic mats you put down on carpet for roll chairs. there has spikes on the bottom. i was just going to cut one of those of and glue it to the bottom of the box to prevent any sliding.
