Hey everyone, nubie here.

I'd like to put together an inexpensive sub system for my 89 honda accord (old skool!)

I just put pioneer TS-G1641R's in the doors, got them for 37 bucks w/ shipping and while not amazing do sound decent with my Nak cd-40z pushing them.

I'm taking the back 6X9's out and I'm just want to run a sing 10" sealed sub in the trunk.

btw - i listen to rock, jazz, a little hip hop, I'm not goint for boom, just something to supliment the front 6.5's

I would like to spend less than $150. Yes I am a cheap bastard!

So I have narrowed it down to this potential set up:

Eclipse SW4000 SW 4000 SERIES 10"

$63 w/ shipping from ebay

Refurbished Profile 240W California 2 CH Amplifier

$50 w/ shipping

I plan on building the enclosure myself, got to love mdf.

Yes I know this is a weak set up but im hoping it makes my 45 min commute to school a bit more bearable. If anyone has any opinions on better options or any specific anectdotes regarding these items i'd apprectiate your input.

peace

dave

Good point stuckinok! 150 bucks huh?? Welll fill the gas tank up and buy a few packs of smokes and your there. LOL. Like the above post said, look in the classifieds but with that budget it will be a rough go to find anthing decent. Good luck!
