Side panel subs

Here goes I have a 06 Focus. I usally have my Treo in but have the need to remove them every now and then for space. Was looking at the 5x7s in the rear quarter panels. I would like to put a 6 1/2 or 8 thier. Can seal it in pretty well I think. The exterior panel is already dead'nd very well. Plan on using expanding foam/masonite and glass for the rest. Looks like I can get about .25 to .35 airspace. Using the factory rear panels so a long through woofer (ed 700s/tangbands) is a no go. Not looking to rock the house with them just add a little bottom end when the Treos or out. Going to get 75watts each. They will run midbass duety when the subs are in 60hz to 150hz Thank for the suggestions!!

Having midbass drivers behind you is a horrible idea.

If you want to run subs in that small airspace as a stealth install idea, that would be a better idea. You don't want anything playing higher than 100Hz or so behind you, however.

Thier is a set of 8in midbass's up front. These are just to add alittle and also run as subs every now and then. For the most part they will be tuned down abit. I went ahead and bought a set of Illusion 8s to try. Also thier are several SQ cars that run a midbass in the rear. Yah that may have been back in the day, but I will argue that those are some of the best Sq cars to ever go through the lanes. Before it retired I had several chances to set in Richard Clarks GN with 12in midbass's in the rear quarters. They ran up to 375hz if I remeber what he told me correctly. The only front speakers where a set of hand built compression drivers. Thanks for the help though. It let me remanase about the old days!!
