SI BM vs. Alpine Type R

type would probably be louder, but bm will take it in sq

i know on roe they tested the bm....was the type r on the great 12"?

if so go take a look at the results...i do know the bm preformed verry well at low notes.

Nope, suprisingly the Type R was not in the testing.

i have heard some really high numbers with a Type R. but in your average install, i would think they are pretty close. i would rather have the SI just because i am not a fan of the Type R.

Well, I ordered a BM for $210 shipped, I think it's a great deal.

so how did you come to this conclusion, i assume you have listened to all three?

No offense... but how do you draw that conclusion? The Octane ZR has the same x-max as the BM, less than the Type-R and it has a smaller diameter voice coil than either the BM or the Type-R.

The bm IMO will be the better buy just because my last type r was loud but dint play low.

type r is a hard driver to beat for the price, go si bm, be different...
