Should punch hx2s be put in a ported or sealed box?

I have two 12 inch punch hx2s in a sealed box. The LOW notes are not heard or felt I just see the subs looking like their trying to escape the box, Should I upgrade to a ported enclosure?

Yeah with it sealed, any note lower than 50hz is distorted

Ported is the way to go. I currently only have 1 12hx2 in a 2cubic ft box ported to 32hz and it is amazingly LOUD!! I had 2 but the other one blew and with both it was crazy!!! Check out ebay Subzone box and I guarantee that you will not regret it!!

Sealed boxes don't do these subs any justice. Go with a ported box.

I've had them in both setups and I currently prefer the sealed, more sq, and this sub gets just as loud as it did when I had it ported.
