I am going to small town SPL contest this weekend(First contest ever for me). So, my question is for this contest should I turn the amp gain up some or just leave where I set it with the DMM. I am planning on burping the system so I didn't know if would be alright to turn the amp gain up for a couple of burps. Also, the system is 2 12L7 hooked to a kx1200.1. Thay are in a slot ported box 5.5Cubes tuned to 32htz(I know not great for spl). But I don't use it for that. This system is in a extended cap Colorado. Anybody got any ball park numbers with this set up. I know it depends on a lot of things. Just wondering.

Thanks, for any info

I wouldnt turn it all the way up. Where is it set at right now?

Also sounds like if you are comepeting then you are looking for spl, lol! U should be alright with that box. Also we cant really give you a number you might hit if we dont know what all you have and even then it will be hard. Just go sign up there and wang away and let us know what you hit. Peace!

Just reread it and you have 1200 rms amp on the 2 12's. What year are they? New or older ones. Also how is your electrical?

i know that there's one somewhere in indiana tomorrow, or rather later today. im coming from the southern burbs of chicago so it will be like a 2 1/2 hour drive. should be a good time tho, im goin up there with some buddies. i think its called clash of the titans or something like that
