Should I try Crystal Stemware?

My mother is coming into town next weekend. My girl and I are going to have a dinner party for our parents as well as some of the rest of the family. My girl wants to make a great impression on my mother who likes fine materials. You think a subltle detail such as these crystal wine glasses would work?

to a certain extent. i am one to believe that money brings happiness. the one thing i would like in life is to not have to work. to be able to fly around the world and see new places, or drive nice cars and have nice stereos. haha i would be happy without those things, but it just makes life so much better when you enjoy the "finer" things in life. haha
