Should I sell my car, if so , for how much?

Don't try to sell us. I can't speak for everyone, but I myself know cars.

In this case, its rare or a reason. That reason is related to why the Bonneville was discontinued pre-maturely.

Its nice but I don't see you getting 6k. I have an 02 Impala with only 115k, leather, sunroof, power everything and chevy dealer was only going to give me 2500. Needless to say I'm still driving my Impala. GLWS if you decide to sell it.

thanks man.. its not the same , its the condition im selling it as,,, To a couple that has been looking for the exact same car

Bro, It's Sales 101. What is the first thing that is going to pop into the buyers mind when you go over everything you listed and throw in the fact that it has 171k miles.

Pick one thing out of that paragraph that you read to them and tell me what 9 out of 10 people will say.......

"$171k miles!? How much is the asking price? From the looks of the car, I was expecting around 100k miles, but not 171k miles......"

I have been in sales for 8 years including supervising, managing, and director level. This above is what we call a rebuttal. This is something you will need to get around.

They obviously dont like the mileage on the car, but ya can't change that, so guess what you will have to do... Lower the price.

All of your add-ons and replaced parts aren't going to mean much when it comes down to the drivetrain. You need a new ****** very soon, bushings all around, motor overhaul, etc...

the 4t65 hd ****** is solid... as long as you dont mod the **** out of the car it will last forever.. as will te 3800 series 2 gm motors... I dunno what classes youve been in or what you have studied but the series 2 3800 has been proven more reliable and longer lasting than the 5,7 350s.... 300k is not uncommon... my "mods" arent really mods.. they are parts that open up tthe motor and let it breathe more, whic is essential in all supercharged/turbo cars.. My intent wasn't to make it a rocket but to open the intake and hear the blower more...

The bushings, front end parts, suspension and mounts have all been replaced... I think its a lil fukd up that u judge my car before you even know whats done to it, nor have ever even seen it

I have had a 3400 and a 3800 series engines. Took the 3400 all the way up to 99k miles and sold it for a Titan. 3800 was a lease so this is a null also. Im sure they are very reliable engines, but how far depends whats been done to it... Why dont you list all of the mods for this vehicle and I'll tell you the reasoning behind my answers

Bro, You just arent listening at all. I get it, you are young. I have been there before saying the exact same thing. Thinks my dad was telling me that I was ignoring.

Let me ask you this... why did you to these "not really mods"? Why? To increase airflow right? Why???? Well it boost more horsepower... Ok, so all of these few minor mids you did and then you slamp on that super charger... Yes, the 3800's came with a supercharger, but it was a very weak one. My friend has one. I expected so much more out of an SC. Anyway, it does make the car fly. Why such a weak Supercharger? Because they had to do it for reliability. The long block didnt change in the 3800 series. If they would have beefed up some of the components internally, then yeah, it wouldn't be as bad, but thats not the case. The ****** is going to go soon. Hands down.

Once again, Im not knocking your car at all. Its a great car and I like it. I know I Know, its not what you want to hear, but ask any of my friends that are around me, not the boards, and ask the what kind of person I am. Liar? Pessimistic? Optimist? Realist? Well my friend, I am the biggest REALIST you will probably ever experience.

Once again, Im not bashing you car, nor do I have anything against you

I was looking at two of those cars when I bought my impala one had 60 k they wanted 13k the other was the model below it and they wanted 8k but it had a busted heated seat so I required them to fix it and they said turn it on the warranty they gave me with a deductible. The second guy was talking smack about my 99 grand prix at the time on test drive the grand prix smoked that car so I got my 03 impala 22k in miles I just broke 80k on my way to slamology. But six thousand is high with work 171k is lots of miles glws
