Should I run 0/1 or 4 gauge?

Alright kiddos, I'm stuck with a decision here.

I already have 4 gauge ran in my car to my sub amp. Since I'm getting a component amp that requires 4 gauge, should I yank the 4 gauge I have there now and replace it with 0/1 guage or just run another line 4 guage

I figure it will be cheaper just to run another line of 4 guage (0 guage is more expensive, then i need dist blocks, etc) than run a new line of 0/1, but I dunno. 0/1 would make a clean install

0 gauge...then you have the ability to upgrade down the road

Get 0g and just 4g adapters to save you from buying the distro block. Plus is best to start big anyway because everyone eventually upgrades

word i am doing 0 gauge and i only spent 30 on wires 30 feet worth. distro blocks are real cheap too. The 0 guage upgrade is actually rather cheap if you shop around.

wow thats expensive just research how to... and then do it yourself.

I was saying if you are going to upgrade you have 2 options in gauge to use, but he might as well use the largest so he only has to upgrade once, but 2 gauge may be easier to run, or be less expensive.
