I have a 140 circuit breaker under the hood which has been there since I first got a system. Now since I'm getting a Audiopipe ap1800 should I replace the circuit breaker with the inline fuse that comes with that amp?

Although I've never experienced it, some people claim that some car audio circuit breakers sometimes do not trip at all. That has worried me enough to never use one. I guess you could always touch power to ground and see if it trips. (I AM ONLY JOKING PLEASE DON'T DO THIS.)

guess it depends on what kind you use i know some people who swear by them

you can try the amp with the circuit breaker...if its too much current it will trip not harming anything...if it keeps tripping replace it with the provided fuse. How many amps is the provided fuse ?
Still waiting on the amp to arrive.
