Should I put anything inside my sub box

I have a crossfire XT212 running off of a Crossfire VR1000D in a ported box, tuned to 34 hz. I was just wondering if I should have put anything in the box. It sounds great, but I'm just wondering if it could sound better. Would some polyfill or acoustic foam behind it be a good idea? Attached is a picture of the layout of the port. Thanks.

If you want you can attatch some fiberglass insulation ( better than polyfill ) to the sides of the enclosure. You dont need it on every surface.

Are you talking about the yellow insulation in house wall? And what surfaces would you put it on?

That's awesome. Being that I'm just down the street, I might have to make a stop by. It's there fault for leaving that ugly building torn up for weeks. So just on the left wall and right walls? Not directly behind the sub at all?

Supa, FG isn't actually better than polyfill, as they're used differently.

in a SEALED box, fill helps bottom end, as it makes the box act like it's larger..

in a PORTED box, fill smooths out peaks

i like the peaks, it doesn't sound natural, but when a song hits one of those sweet spots, it makes me smile

Ok....for example fiberglass is probably the best material to use for damping a TL, but polyfill in a small sealed enclosure is what you want for that application.
