should i port my fiberglass box?

i have a sealed 1.5 cubic foot fiberglass box with one 12 inch type -r (2ohm) sub in it with about 500 watts rms goin to it .... u guys think i should port it and if so what should i tune it too i her type -r's soud good around 30 but i dunno? what do you guys think? thanks alot

i say if you think you can do it, then do it. if not don't worry about it. i like my boxes around 32-34Hz.
