Should I lower the tuning on this box before I finish it?

I am half way done with my 7.8cu ft NET Box for 3-12" Type-R's. I plan on having about 2300RMS and right now i have 2 44^2in ports 16in long that leaves the tuning at 37hz. When I plot the box in winisd it doesnt have that horrible of freq response but is this thing going to be a fart box on some young jeezy songs or other low rap songs? Thanks

No, its not too high for any driver. It wont be a fart box by any means, but of course it can sound better. The WinISD graphs are hardly every accurate, it will greatly change in the vehicle.

But if you want SQ, tune around 32Hz and below; SQL is generally 33Hz - 35Hz and SPL is above that. Now, my daily box is 38Hz and it sounds fine...

the higher the tuning Hz the greater bandwith of frequencies the box will peak at. but you will also suffer diminished output at the low lows...
