Well, I've got two boxes to choose from for my Eclipse SW8200. Both are sealed

The first option, is simply 1 cube. It produces some good bass with excellent SQ.

The second option is 4.4 cubes sealed. This allows me, with easy goin on the gain, to bounce quarters 3" off my roof @ 20hz. However this will sacrifice SQ. I will definately use the SSF and gain to make sure no damage becomes of the woofer.

Trunk space doesn't concren me much as I have a 4x8 flat bed trailer i can pull around.

Should I go for more SQ ... or should I pound down the road with some CRAZY low bass?

Heres the 1 cube and my simple custom amp rack.

All cuts were made by hand using a circular saw. I'd say they came out pretty well for my first time actually using it.

But then again, thats what Caulk is for ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I LOVE screws. And glue.

good looking box for your first time with a circular saw...
counter sinking all those screws must've been a nightmare...
Thanks

Yea, it was. I had a nice system going though. Predrill most or all of them on the face, drop that bit, grab the countersink, then start screwing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

hahaa

Well i've decided to stick with 1 cube sealed. I just can't live without that amazing SQ. yea, output is nice, but I'll keep that for my next setup.

And everyone here will agree with me, there is no such thing as a final setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

I already had my sub in the 4.4cube box. It was louder than piss. However it was hard to keep the sub from bottoming out.

Seriously, how many people do you know can bounce quarters 3" off the roof with a sealed box, a single 12", and 250w power?
