i have 4ga power wire running in my honda civic coupe with all factory electricals and some grounding points. (big-2 was done, *+alt > +batt will be done when supplies come in*)

im running a hifonics brutus bx1000d and an alpine 4-ch speaker amp (40wrms x4) and would like to know if switching over to 2ga power wire is a well worth investment in my situation? however, i will eventually upgrade to an higher grade amp that will be a 1000 watt TRUE rms mono amp.

yes i would... heck just go all the way with 0 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

im running around 1kw on my system right now and my wires are gettin kinda warm.

i would run 1/0 awg to a disto block if you have two amps, then depending on how long the runs off the block are going to be, run something like 4 awg. 4 awg if it is like under 5 feet per wire.
