Should I glass the back of my speaker baffles?

I am installing some 6.5 mids in the door of my truck with the grey foam type baffles.

Beside the normal door soundproofing, would it help if I glassed in the back of the baffles so it would be almost like a rigid box type enclosure?

I would saok any wood you put in the door with resin to protect it from water. But I wouldn't glass that tiny arse foam baffle as an enclosure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
