Should I give up my Alpine 7995 for a new 9885?

Should I give up my Alpine 7995 for a new 9885? I honestly prefer the 7995 for cosmetic reasons, and also because it has a motorized face and time correction. They seem to have brought back 4v preouts however in the 9885. Is there any reason I shouldn't go for a 9885? I have an opportunity right now to sell my 7995 and go to a 9885 very fast and easily.

Also I would really like to wait on a 9887 and just go straight to that, but when the heck will that be coming out?

agreed. There is a thread about the best hu of all time and your is listed in there several times but the 9885 is yet to be listed. Take that how you will be Louisiana_CRX is right, new isnt always better!

if you're getting tired of your 2002 alpine hu, you could try alpines 9815 or 9835, which are top of the lines of 2003 and 2004 respectivly.. they have a few more resources than yours and i'm sure it's a better hu than this new one by alpine...
