Should I Get This Amp?

Its a Soundstorm amp, i want to power 3 12" Type Rs to their full abilities..its either this amp or a hifonics 1606D..this one is obviously cheaper..heres specs

If these are your two amp choices go with hifonics 1606D.

Alright, thats crossed out..im looking at a 1606d and 1608d..Not sure which ill get. How are the crunch 1500w amps? Im obviously leaning toward the 1600s for more wattage tho.

I would say stay away from the Soundstorm..... Then again, I wouldn't run a Hifonics BXi amp either even though I have recommended them to friends as CHEAP power. They were more than satisfied with the performance of the Hifonics even though I think they are cheap and make about 10 to 20% less than their "rated" power at any given load.

Truthfully, I would run **THIS** over a Hifonics BXi 16##D, but that is just me! Heck, I would run it over the BXi 20##D too!

I am selling an alphasonik pma1000hca that does 3000 watts at 1ohm with proper electrical 310 shipped

And that soundstorm wouldn't make 2500 watts even if it got struck by lightning

To put it simply..not looking to spend a few+ bills on an amp right now..so suggesting 3-800$ amps just flys right past me lol

Well... actually... NO! If I were in the market for a Class D amp, I might run the Cadence, but knowing me I would get something more expensive. Instead, I am going to run some old school, Class AB greatness on my subs @ 8 ohms mono! One of them will put out 850 watts RMS @ 8 ohms and the other one will do 1,100 watts RMS @ 8 ohms. I love me some old school, high voltage, power amps

ETA: Go with the Hifonics and call it a day. As I said, they are CHEAP power and very hard to beat for the price!

I highly doubt theyre accurate though, iirc Soundstorm is along the level of Boss.

The alphasonik I am selling is a high current a/b 2 channel that does 1575 watts at 4 ohm and 3000 watts at 1 ohm

if i was spending 500 bucks on one i would get a sundown...NOT this...but thats just me
