I have 4 eclipse 6x9's that are about 4 months old and I was wondering since I have those speakers, should I get some components?

If you do get components, ditch one set of the 6x9's (atleast).

Why are you considering the switch?

While most components will be superior in performance, if you're not unhappy with your 6x9 setup there is really no reason to switch.

Any companies coaxials are likely going to sound very different from their components. Your best best is to just go listen to a bunch of equipment in a shop near you, or preferrably in someone's car that has a component set you might be interested in. However, you sould be very pleased with the Rainbow comps, if you decide to go with those.
