Should I get the DSC4125 over this amp?

Their ar atleast two disadvantages compared to class AB. Firstly, class D amplifiers with a digital input have the disadvantage that they need an extremely clean supply, as the supply is basically the DAC's reference voltage. Secondly, class D amplifiers often have a rather high output inductance due to the output filter, making the frequency response at high audio frequencies more dependent on the loudspeaker impedance. this reults in a less cleaner sound depending on the quality of the source and filter on the amp

The source is a Pioneer Avic-F90bt ran to an Audiocontrol EQX

Should have bought one of my bnib Zed amps that put out 180 watts x 4 at 2 ohms which is underrated at 12 volts. $200 with 6 year warranty..

I hope I didn't make a mistake because I just ordered the Planet Audio amp?
I doubt you made a mistake. It is class-D, yes, but you'll know for sure after you install it and really take a listen.

There is lots of debate over the SQ of class-D amps, mostly because the Alpine PDX amps marred the image of full range class-d's. Some of the PDXs worked great, but there was an overwhelming number of people coming forward complaining of noise issues. I haven't heard anything about heat, though. However, there are many OTHER class-D amps that are receiving lots of praise without the issues that the PDX's had (such as the JL HD amps).

I wouldn't fret it. If it sounds good and does rated power (take measurements and let us know!), then it's a good amp IMO.

Yeah man, I was trying to be cheap about it. I just figured there must be something to this amp because I saw a birth sheet that said 702 watts @ 4 ohms. I'm still skeptical! I decided to get it because I'll be running 8 8ohm speakers and 2 4ohm speakers. I also needed the 4 channels to go active. I guess I will see if "hand crafted in the USA" makes a difference or not? I don't know much about guts, but internally it looked better.

Well, you're comparing a class-A/B amp to a class-D which shouldn't be compared to each other (guts-wise). The topologies are completely different to begin with.
I understand that, but I've ran 4 different 4 channel amps by Maxxsonics and they all had a similar sound to each other. I just wanted to try something different.
