should I get a new altenator, front battery, or a back battery

stock battery, stock alternator in a 02 trail blazer. I was wondering should I get an new alternator, a new battery (yellow top probably), or get a battery in the back and hook it up in the back to the amp. The amp is rated at 1800 watts. The reason I am asking is becasue every time I hit a low beat or something like that the voltage meter will go down to around 9-10 and I am afraid of destroying something or reaning something. I just need to know which one would be better to get or do?
