Should I deaden my trunk lid with sludge?

I have a little less than a gallon of sludge left over from deadening my doors. Should I use it to deaden my trunk lid which rattles real bad? It'll have to be deadoned one way or another, and I already have the sludge, the reason I'm asking is this: I'm worried it would look really ugly, and/or it'll drip off the lid too eadily. Oh, it's b-stock so it's a little thinner than regular I think.

I would not use sludge, rather have a sheet deadener on there for aesthetics.

How about a coule mm of sludge and then seal and peal over that?

yes, you sould deaden pretty much everything in the car.

I think you are supposed to apply mat deadener before liquid.... For adhesion purposes..
