should I buy from carsteroshop, crutchfield, bestbuy or sonic plz help

Crutchfield is good (kind of expensive on some things). Sonic is my personal favorite. Good prices, fast shipping and good customer service. Woofersetc. is good. Never dealt with carstereoshop and Best Buy is an overpriced store that has a huge boner for Alpine....

you should just buy from the forum ,you'll get better equipment for less money in most cases.all the places you asked about doesn't sell really good equipment ,ok at best on some of it.

woofer etc ,customer service sux.sonic doesn't have that good of stuff.buying from members here isn't hard ,especially if you tell us what you want ,your expectations, and a budget .i myself sell alot of equipment here,i'm the dc rep on the forum and also deal with cdt, ab and a few other company's as well.i can get you just about anything to fit your budget and i offer all warranties on all my new equipment that i sell.

so sonic or wolfstetic, and buy from the forum that sounds complicated
Nah. Not complicated. If you have a paypal acct. you're good. If not create one. A lot of the vendor's will send you an electronic invoice to your email and you can pay by debit card. Or whatever you can work out with the seller. Use common sense and you should be good.

Crutchfield is the best listed. always authorized and they sell at MAP (not overpriced).
they also give you lots of instructions, accessories, and basically everything you need to complete the job.
last part of this is true, but always map pricing ,i really dont think so.usually over map unless it's a closeout

well ok where should i post my budget etc and expectations to find out what people on the forum can do. also u say sonic sells bad stuff, Im confused and new to car audio but they sell alpine which is suppose to be the best right

Buying from the forums > Sonic/carstereo/woofersetc > crutchfield > best buy.

Buying from the forums is the best way to go, IMO. You'll get the best deals, on the best equipment for the most part. I've only been into any of this for a year, and it's been the easiest thing to do IMO.

Sonic, Car stereo, and woofersetc are the preferred place to shop for stuff if you insist upon buying new.

Crutchfield has an ok selection, and always an entirely legitimate product, but very expensive. They include a warranty and "authorized dealer" status, which only count for anything if you have every bit of your install done by a professional and authorized shop.

Best buy is just pretty much terrible for everything.

And as for what you've heard about "Alpine" or any other brands, just forget it. It's all objective, and almost certainly misinformed. Most the name-brands are just fine in their performance and quality, and then terribly over-priced.
