i would go wit the local shop because u got to wait a little for the iraggi shipping wise plus shipping cost, and locally u can buy it and get it installed by the people, cant beat that so if anything goes wrong you can jus deal directly face to face wit the people who installed it.

I went with a local company when I bought my 240 amp alt. Because If I ever have a problem All I have to do is drive over to the shop, Not ship it off to some company on the other side of the country.

Edit* Also the shop where I bought my alternator had the HO alt I wanted in stock so that was an added extra.

Yeah thats my concern...I know Iraggi usually takes a while to fix an alternator and get it back to you...How has your alternator been?

Iraggi quoted me $435 for a 300 amp alt. Ford my expedition. This other local shop quoted my friend $300/installed for a 280amp alternator for his camry. Which do you guys think I should go with? I heard Iraggi's customer service sucks so im not sure...
Here's the shop's site-

Same thing I told my friend and the guy told him that alternator isn't made for a camry but it will work just as good and can be bolted on...Biggest I would expect made for a camry is like 220amps

Atlas Alternators & Starters offers on-site installation within 1 hour and outstanding workmanship on all services. Our affordably priced alternators and starters also come with a 1-year warranty on all new parts and a 6-month warranty on all rebuilt parts. Trade-ins on all parts are welcome. I like that too

Great, actually The place where I got my alternator supplies Team S.P.E.A.D (headed up by Matt Sibley) and they use basically the same parts that Ohio Gen. Uses. The only problem I had was a glitch with the original Voltage regulator, and the owner of the shop fixed it right on the spot, no problems since.
