Should I buy a kicker zxs1500.1?

yeah its looking more like Ill be picking up a zx1500.1 then. so HO alt, better battery, and big 3 upgrade is all I need to upgrade the electrical system correct?

Kicker and JBL for good 2ohm power. As far as your electrical upgrades, that will be a good start. It should suffice quite well and make sure you use 0g power/grnd wire for the amp itself.

alright well this is all going to be one step at a time for me as money is kinda tight due to having my first kid on the way. going to get the kicker amp, then the alt and battery, and then get all the wiring that I will need to install everything. My car is 89 prelude and Im not daring to hook anything up in it until I have everything that I need to do it right to keep from frying anything. might go ahead and get a second battery while Im at it too. any good suggestions for the amp wiring kits?

you probably won't need a 2nd batt if money is super tight and your alty is strong enough.. It would be nice to have one, but probably not necessary. I run a 2400w JBL amp on a stock alt with a duralast gold with only the big 3 and 0g power/grnd. @04murdalanche; can vouch for that. baha Look into Knuconceptz for gooooood wiring kits/pieces.

Yes I can. Idk how the hell it holds up but it does lol..

Knu is the way to go, CCA is the shit and cheap from them. If anyway possible I would get a second batt though

alright I mean Ill eventually replace the alty later down the road probably around tax time unless it goes b4 then after I replace the battery with something. other than optima yellowtop, would else would be a good choice?
