Should i build custom door panels for my truck???

i own a 2004 ford explorer.. and im thinkin about buildin custom door panels for it.. well really just remolding the lower half of the door to hold a 8" midbass driver

Pros: better imaging and better midbass and look better then stock

Cons: cuttin doors up on a newer truck and new door panels cost $320 each ... and no non of the junkyards have any iv called so many my ear hurts

Call some local wrecking yards and see if they have any, so you can keep the originals if you ever need to return it to stock...

So neither of your two responders read your entire post. Dont worry, I didnt miss the part where you've already looked for used panels with no luck.

Whether or not you should do it is up to you. Ever plan on selling the vehicle? Ever plan on changing the stereo in the future? Etc.
