I'm running a Kicker solo x 18 with a Visonik hk4000d amplifier.
I had a local car audio shop install it all with a custom enclosure.
I'm currently running stock electrical with a 4 gauge charge line from front battery to back battery (kinetik hc2400) then 0 gauge to the amp. (300A fuse)
2006 range rover supercharged. (150A)
Soon to be 320A alternator with big 3 and dual 4 gauge charge line.
My question is...
After bassing, the wire from the amp to the fuse holder heats up and becomes more flexible and the metal on the kicker fuse holder becomes hot... is this normal?
The insulation on the wire does not melt though.
Any recommendations for when I push more power ?
Thanks.
