Hi All

Have just had a new double din kenwood installed and whilst playing around with the different music sources i noticed that from my android bluetooth phone mp3 tracks load almost instantly (less than a second) , whilst a memory stick or hd takes 6 or 7 seconds when skipping to next track.

Anyone know why?

Thanks

It's most likely due to a low quality flash drive or the head unit is just slow when it's in charge of the music rather than the phone.
ok must be the head unit because i`ve tried to usb 3.0 flash drives and a usb 3.0 hard drive. Seems odd that it can change wirelessly the phone track via bluetooth instantly but something connected via usb is 4 or 5 times slower.

Thanks

On further investigation , I cleaned out the folders on the stick and also i noticed some of the album art was large ie 1000x1000 jpegs. So that couldve been it. Especially as the bluetooth doesnt use an Album art which would mean faster loading. Anyway, its now down to about 2secs to change track from 6-7seconds.
