Kind of a silly question, but maybe someone here can clear this up for me.
I am going to be buying a custom box with (2) 10" subs, they are both 4ohms and RMS that I need to provide to each woofer is 500 watts rms.
What I am looking for one (1) single amp to push both of these subs.
Now do I need to look for a mono-block type amp or a 2-channel?
Would these specs work for my application:
Xxample:
An amp that is 1500W, is a 2-Channel which has an Power Output of:
375W Maxx x 2 @ 4 ohms
750W Maxx x 2 @ 2 ohms
1500W Maxx x 1 @ 4 ohms
Would this amp with these specs work for my application of SUBs I will be using 2-subs @ 4ohm each to gain at least 500watts rms?
If not, what kind of amp / spec wise will I need to look for to gain the most power? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Thanks all.
