with a 600.1 and a single shiva wired in parallel you will get a 4ohm mono load giving you 300watts rms out of your 600.1. i think the biggest reason bootleg is really stressing getting the 1200.1 is b/c at 4 ohm you get 600watts rms and if you add a 2nd shiva you will get 600rms a piece. now if you run 2 shiva's off a 600.1 in a parallel setup that will give you a 2ohm mono load giving you 600watts rms to the pair. i think that explains it rather well i'm not sure why no one straight up said that before but hope that helps ya bro.
