Sold shipping sub boxes. *Risky Business*

I just bought a dual 12" subs box off here for $120. $40 for the box, plus $80 shipping.

Now I get the box on monday and the thing is crap. Totally dented around the corners from inferior CHEAP/flimsy packaging. No extra padding inside the box (especially around the corners).

Insurance point is not even an option because the packaging was so poor that they wouldn't cover the pacakge.

I file a paypal dispute on this. My advice is don't buy any boxes off here or even on ebay or other forums UNLESS you know they'll do a good job packing.

Lots of people in Illinois near you, you could find someone to build you a box for cheap.

yah i know but I figured the person might need to buy some pacakging + pay for the shipping so I let it slide.

I needed a box quick and this one was already built to spec for my RE's. Now I really wish I would've just had one built by someone else.

not for me really.

1) garage is FULL. I cannot get to anything right now. all my tools are hugged against walls so I can fit my cars in there over winter months.

2) no free time. Working 65hr weeks right now.
