Shipping cost on subs... why so high?

Ok... I have been looking at subs online and places are charging on average $25 to ship a sub GROUND!! Do they send these things in boxes of gold or something? WTF....

yup the weight, but still some online retailers will add another $10-20 more dollars on top

that's why you need to compare the total price of b&m vs. online before buying

I know they are heavy... big magnets... yeah.. heavy. I did some checking at USPS and other and looks like to ship 10-15 lbs cross county is about $25... at least I have peace of mind now... much better..
