I previous post brought this to my attention. What subs have a very shallow mounting depth, around 4" or less, not including those thin saucer type subs. I'd prefer to stick to the more mainstream brands as well. I'm sure this will limit me to either an 8" or 10" sub, but that is ok. Also, does anyone know the mounting depth of an Eclipse Aluminum 10", as this is the sub I am really interested in.
the eclipse is deep....i use a planet audio neo 8.....the motor tstructure is on the top...so it needs hardly any depth.....http://www.planetaudiousa.com look for the neo sub woofers....
