Shallow mount subs?

I'm looking for two 12" shallow mount subs that will work in about .6 cubes sealed off of about 500 watts.

Ideally I'd like the new BM's coming out, but I really don't want to wait that long.

Oh, and I can't afford the JL's, so those are out of the question.

Yeah, can't afford that on my income. Looking more at the Pioneer Premiers for $145 a piece off running off of a Crunch GP1500.

The Kicker CVT is way better than the Pioneer. I've used both for many months.

i used to have the pioneers. i really liked them. the pioneer box for them blows though. no screws in it. the subs slowly tore the box apart.

Get Exile Audio's flat sub. I have one now that I am using temporarily until the BM comes out. It's getting only 300 watts and it's in a box I built for the BM which is smaller than what the Exile needs (about .55)and it does pretty well.

You could probably do a Mag or 2 if you have 5.5" of depth. It will work in a .6 cube box with polyfill.

I thought the Mags were 5.5" deep? Or do they just require 5.5"?
