shallow mount comps

Need 6.5 comps with good midbass that have mounting depth less than 2" (that's with 1/2" spacer, can't do 3/4 spacer) and power about 50-100W for around 150. thanks

About the only product I can think of that even comes close to fitting those parameters are the CDT EF-61NEO set which have a mounting depth of 2.187”. Not sure how their midbass is, but they can be had at woofersetc for $190.

All of the other shallow-mounting depth setups I can think of off hand are well out of your price range

Yep the Neo set from CDT has pretty good midbass for your price range. If you were to save some money you could get a lot better component set from Rainbow.

They have amazing midbass and the CS 265 X plain can be had for around 380 shipped...

i have a set of the CDT EF-51neo slimlines for sale $125 shipped

mounting depth is 2" 80wrms

EDIT: just saw you wanted 6.5" these are 5.25"

I think a speaker with that shallow of a mounting depth would be pretty limited in their effective low-end range, compared to a deeper driver.

Not saying amazing engineering couldn't overcome this, it just seems logical.
