setup opinions needed

it seems after countless attempts of putting together a system i have come up with want i want to get.

if you can please critique it and give me any feedback you can, also other suggestions would be great:

Sony CD MP3 Player CDX-GT805DX

FI Car Audio Q12 Subwoofer 1000W RMS

NEW 06 HIFONICS ZXI3406 4 CHANNEL AMP 300W

BRAND NEW INFINITY 63.7I (3-WAY SPEAKERS)

New HIFONICS BX1605D Car Amp Mono ch 1600w Class D

obviously the BX1605D is for the Q12 and the ZXI3406 is for the infinity speakers.

if i have it correct then the ZXI3406 gives out 75W @ 2 ohms x 4 which will supply all 4 infinity speakers when i get the other pair. im only getting one pair of 6.5 right now because im not 100% whats in the door and i cant go out and look as you can tell by my location...lol.

the BX1605D should have no problem powering the Q12 and i can even turn it down to around 800 or 900rms just so im not coming close to max out the amp...is this good thinking?

any help, criticize, suggestions would help

It sounds like your planning to run the amp at 2 ohms. If you want to put all that power to use, get a dual 2 ohm Q and run it at 1 ohm for 1600 watts. But hifonics amps are overrated, so it will see around 1400 maybe. Dont worry about the power handling, the Q can handle plenty more than that daily. As for the rest of the components, some say the highs in kappas are harsh, but that may be only for the component set. The headunit looks nice but I dont know much about sony headunits. You may be able to find something better for that price.

By the way, what car do you have? I can find out the rear speaker size for you.

the car is a 2005 civic coupe

ive gotten bad reviews on the sony head unit so i'll look for something else.

also i hear that the hifonics amp isnt that great so i'll look for something else also.

The hifonics amp isn't bad. There is of course better amps, but its decent for the money. It is just overrated. But what would your budget be for the amp and head unit?

i dont really have a budget...just whatever catches my eye i'll go for it

now i dont want to spend like 1k on an amp or like 500 on a deck, i dont want to go overboard or anything...

i was actually looking at the eclipse deck yesterday...i'll give that and the pioneer a closer look.

i like eclipse products and pioneer is never really a bad choice.

ETA: that pioneer deal from crutchfield is crazy...60 off the deck plus over 80 dollars in savings on the harness, deck kit, and ipod connection.

Yea, its nice. I just installed my sisters deh-4800mp, and its nice. Very good for the price, so im thinking the 6800 should be very nice.

the pioneer 4800mp is a very nice deck i have that deck in my ride very nice also well Eq set on it and options are also well good deck for the cash
