Setup Help Please

Please be patient with me, I will try to make this short. I have been doing a lot of research the past few weeks and I am eager to upgrade my factory speakers. I have 2008 Acura TSX with 6.5 components in front and rears with 6x9's in rear deck. I was set to purchase Alpine type S across the board from recommendations from the Honda forum but after reading the audio forums I see that the not so advertised companies offer a better value. I listen to mostly R&B, Jazz, and some Hip Hop. I am on a limited budget and will be piecing the system together as the wife lets me. I think I have narrowed the components down to either:

IDS CTX65CS, Alpine Ref X, or CDT 61-25APRO

My questions for the experts are:

1. I have nowhere to audion these so can you let me know what you think based on you experience. Also, will they fit in factory locations? I plan on keeping my factory head unit and bypassing the factory amp.

2. What kind of amp should I look at for ~ $200. Originally looking at Alpine F300 but I'm sure you guys have better choices that are not mainstream. Want to power components and a pair of 6x9's, speaking of...

3. Can you recommend a good pair of 6x9's to match components that would be my primary low end since I don't plan on adding sub (at least no time soon).

I am open to any other setup suggestions. I want to keep total setup (including parts/installation)

Thank you misfit. That would be perfect. I didn't know that this was an option. So just get the components with the crescendo amp and 6x9 woofers and I should be set. Should I just leave the rear door speakers stock? Another newbie question, amp kits are selling at my local audio store for $100. I checked Amazon and they have it them for $30. What are the necessary parts of a kit that I should be looking for? Thanks again for your creative setup. Sounds like the perfect option for me.

You could leave the stock speakers in the rear doors, or upgrade to some inexpensive coaxials later on down the line.

Buy this amp wiring kit.

Buy this speaker wire.

Awesome. So I put 2 Tangs in the 6x9 locations and hook the amp to the them and the components. Looks like I may have to cut the trim a little t get them to fit. I am sure my installer will know how to set it up so that only low pass goes to the rears (although he'll be upset because I didn't buy Alpine from his "authorized" store). I take it this is all I need unless I'm missing something. If not I will order this weekend. Thanks again for your help!
