Setup for my friend.

Okay my buddy owns an 03 honda civic and he wants to put a sub in there. Weight is an issue but he wants some bump. I figured a sealed homemade fiberglass box would be the best, for space and size. I was wondering what you guys would recommend on the amp and sub. I was thinking one 12, but i dont know. He listens to rock almost exclusively. Thanks in advance!

PS. Oh yeah cost is a big factor here as well. It would need to be pretty cheap.
