Setting gains with DMM TROUBLE.

I'm trying to set gains for my rockford fosgate punch150 25 to life which runs my pro60.

I'm setting my gain to 24.5v for each channel but only get 4-5v max but if a bridge the channels i get like 47.7v max. What is going on here?

well i set it using the bridge voltage @ 36.4v

unless my math is way off that should give me around 220 per channel.
