Set up in my truck

i am getting an 03 ford ranger ext. cab. Gonna put jvc hu kicker 750.1 amp on 06 s12l7 in a sealed box. gonna leave the factory speakers now and gonna get 2 tweeters on a 222 watt sony amp. I think this is gonna sound good. Any advice or tips?

Sounds like a plan. I would build/have built a ported box for yourself. You'll thank yourself later, it's a lot nicer sound, unless you are going for sq, which I would reccomend a different driver.

I would upgrade the speakers and the tweeters on that little amp. You can get new speakers for pretty cheap.

what box size do you think? What sub should i get if i dont get that kicker? i dont have but about 700-750 to spend on box, amp, hu, sub and anything else.

get the kicker just try to sue a 3 cube ported box about 32hz tuning

yeah if you want the l7 get it man, but id go ported. i heard a pair in a jeep and man they can wang!

Any websites with plans on building a box? i would like to get it built but i can probably build it if i must. What other drivers would you recommend. I only have about 700-750 for the whole system right now.
