Ran across this tutorial again. I did this a while back and it's amazing. It tells you if the mp3 you have will clip at the volume it is. YOu can set a certain volume for all your tracks to be at, or you can individualize volume by album. Great tool to use if you hate having to adjust volume for different songs, like I do.

yup MP3Gain, great lil free program. been using it for over a year w/o problems. though i dont like the default level of 89dB... i found most songs were recorded near 96 dB so i gained them all at that
