okay i pulled my taillights off and one of the bulbs was completely off, the base had broken inside the housing some how and it was rolling around, i am going to go pick up another one as soon as the wife gets home and see if this fixes the problem.

well, i looked at the light that had fallen out and the metal housing for it was missing, look around and it was on the ground, put it back in, put the bulb in and bam, works great.
