Second Battery in the trunk?

i am running a optima yellow top up front....and im def in need of more power....my amp just kills my current setup......can i just run my old battery that WAS upfront in my trunk? and how would i wire it etc.... thanks ahead of time

shit cause now i ll have 2 batt layin around unused.....any other suggestions....should i have kept the stock batt up front and put the yellow top in back?

yea, you could do that and isolate the yellow top. but if you get a second yellow top you can gain a lot more power...

I'd consider buying a new alt. Adding a second battery is gonna make your alt piss blood.

my alt is takin a shit as it is....where are the cheapest places that install and sell good alts....any how many amps am i lookin at for my system??? and how much power will it rob from my engine?

depends on how much you want, he has lots of different ones, what sorta car do you have?

acura rl 1999....and a max possible draw of 175 ish amps for the whole car ....taking in account if everythign were at full tilt lol

well both of em had good points....well a new alt will be 400 or so installed im assuming....new yellow around 150......i was told just to get another yellow and charge it once in a while
