Using a Jumper (EASY)

I have a single dual 2ohm sub and I want to get a 4ohm load. The question is that when I use the jumper to connect the + to - as the jumper, what wire do I use? I have 12ga speaker wire, do I just use the positive, negative, or both for the jumper? Thanks sorry bout the noob questions.

Just separate the speaker wire so that you have two separate wires instead of the two connected wires, then use either the positive or negative length of wire. It doesn't matter which, they're exactly the same.
