Sealed Type R

i plan on running 4 ten inch alpine type R's, is it a bad idea to do them sealed? Sealed is all i can run so wanna get some input before i purchase them.

just do 2 ported. i had 2 12s sealed and thy dont sound very good sealed.

cant go ported, these subs will be under a back seat of a truck so very limited on getting exact space for sealed.

Any suggestions for 10's 400-500 rms or two 12's?

Phoenix gold 10" Rsdc's. Each one could be sealed down to 0.2cuft. 0.382cuft would be optimal for sq. These get pretty loud too. I really like these subs.

I've got two Type-R 10's currently but they're ported...never were loud enough for me sealed. 4 cu ft, 32 hz, 1200 watts to them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Put them in ~1.2 cu ft each and you'll be fine.

Isn't that true with most subs if not all.
