Sealed or Ported?..

i'm about to buy 2 kicker L7's 15" but i don't know if it's better to go with a ported enclosure or a sealed enclosure?

what would you guys go with? if possible, can you lemme know why.. thanks dudes

depends on what kind of space you have. it'll be a very large box ported.

They can be sealed

just box size is hugeeeee

Beside why worry about equal output

your buying L7's to shatter glass!

just the supplies for a box that size will probably cost 100$. you'll have to do it yourself for that probably.

2 15's will take 2 full sheets of mdf. you could probably do it if you want a plain wood box with no finish or carpet.

screws $10 or so

glue around $5 + $5 for carpet glue

carpet price depends on what u use.

i also use hot glue to seal my boxes. its much faster and works the same.

u also need around 8 cubes net to use the l7s to their full potential.
