Well right now i am running 2 SX 15's (dual 2 ohm) on a Hifonics Thor @ 2ohms (Thor rated 2300@2) Now I have a Hifonics Herc laying around and I am about to buy another to strap them for 4k@2ohms. Now my thing is this i dont know if i want to sell SX's and buy 4 new 15" dual 4ohm SX's, Bl's, or HDC3's (dual 1's), or do i go with may be 2 15's or 18's that can take 4k Rms??? Any suggestion's on Subs would be greatly appreciated.

I voted for the 4 15's. It will give you the most cone area and motor force, but this will require the biggest box. Do you have the space for this?

Also off of 1K I'd go for either the SE/SX/Q/BL, I'd rather give the HDC3's more power.

I have a 99 Expedition so i have plenty of room

4 15's if not 2 18 HDC3's on 2k a piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
so the 2 HDC3 18's (copper coils) can take 2k each?

I'm giving my 15's 4400 for the pair, I know a few people giving copper coils 3000 daily.
I could get 2 15's (HDC3) today if i want. but.... my box is tunned a bit low but i could always build a second box just for SPL lmao what your electrical look like for those 2 strapped amps
