Sealed or Ported for a 12" Type-R off 1000W?

Hey,

What do you guys recommend for a 12" Type-R running off of 1000W? Its in the trunk of a 1992 Camry and I really want it to hit hard in the front of the car even through the back seats that block it off...

Would you guys recommend sealed or ported? Also what size?

I currently have it in 2.4 Cubes tuned to 34Hz in my first ever box but I cant help but feel like it could be hitting a bit harder if I had it setup differently.

What do you guys think?

Yes... he can run it at 1000watts... and ported!!! Type Rs don't seem to perform well at all from what those on the forums say... Check the Type R thread and see what size most were having success with... your size and tuning seems like it would do well.... How much port area do you have?

I had 2 12s off a 500.1(5000watts)

Itll work, just be a lil on safe side and make box a lil smaller
