sealed or ported for 12w6?

should i go sealed or ported for my single 12w6v2? i listen to alot of rap and r&b. this is going into my 01 celica if it matters. thanks guys for any help, and if anyone can build me box let me know how much.

On rap and R&B port it. Unless you are not looking for a lot of output.

That's the only thing you need to ask yourself. Are you looking for a lot of output? If yes port it. If you just want it to blend with the rest of your system and are looking for a better response, seal it.

yup, if you want output go for the port.

i just build my brother a JL 'spec' enclosure for his W6v2 and it sounds great but the sealed box i have mine in sounds better.

yeah, his is a little louder but i dont mind.
