Sealed into a ported

The fiberglass is only on the hump portion of the box (so it would custom fit to the floor) the rest is MDF so the port wouldn't be going into the fiberglass
o, well just find the dimensions of your box, take off the top, do the math on your port length and add a port wall or two if necessary

the box is approx. 2.2cf (single chamber)...subs are in sig

the box can't be taken apart without ruining the thing (if I have to take it apart I will just have a new one made with much more mounting depth to accommodate some bigger, louder, more power handling subs...will have the rear seat raised also).

I'm good at math but I know NOTHING about ported boxes...just wondering if this is even a feasible idea or just some lame half-assed attempt to do something I shouldn't even mess with.

2.2cubes for the 2 of em?? how is that too much air space!!! i had my 1000s in a 6cube dual chamber box so 3cubes for each sub and each chamber had a 3-3/4in aero port in it tuned to 32hz!

and it was loud as all hell!!! if anything i would say get a bigger box! cause 2.2cubes for the 2 is not to much for those subs!
